The International Association for Near-Death Studies has been the main scholarly home for NDE research since the 1980s. Its annual conference is the largest in-person gathering on near-death experiences and related phenomena, drawing researchers, clinicians and experiencers from around the world.

Program typically bridges peer-reviewed research, clinical implications, and structured testimony from experiencers.
