Instructions for Leaving is an independent feature documentary about death, consciousness and the things that get left unsaid. It follows several people through end-of-life work, with contributions from researchers and practitioners working at the edge of what we know about dying and continuity.

The Thorn Institute's Principal Daniel Spina is participating as one of the contributors. Filming runs across roughly two and a half weeks on location in Virginia, United States, through mid-July.
