Exploring Consciousness is an official Monroe Institute program — the first two days of the residential Gateway Voyage, delivered as a standalone two-day workshop by Monroe-certified trainers. The Thorn Institute is an authorised Monroe affiliate. The program uses Hemi-Sync® audio entrainment to support a structured exploration of attention, deep relaxation, and access to non-ordinary states of consciousness.

The Thorn Institute's Principal Daniel Spina is working toward certification to deliver this program through The Thorn Institute from 2027.
