Out-of-Body Experiences

An out-of-body experience is a state of awareness that seems to be outside or separate from the physical body. Some people call it astral projection. Some people say we don't really 'leave' the physical body at all. The jury is still out on that one, or maybe I just am not sure personally. But everyone agrees that something is happening - whether your consciousness is something that actually separates from your physical body, or you just perceive it such, it's a magical experience, and can certainly deepen your understanding and interest in exploring further. People describe the room from above, or from beside the bed, or somewhere else entirely. The body is usually still there, asleep, sometimes in view. Accounts of people having Out-of-body experiences turn up across cultures and centuries: in religious writing (e.g. the Christian bible), in medical literature, in near-death reports, and from ordinary people who weren't looking for the experience but it happened to them. The Monroe Institute, which Daniel trains with, was built on Robert Monroe's work exploring exactly this phenomenon, and the use of relaxation, self-programming, and sound science to help people achieve these sorts of experiences wilfully. Reported sensations include vibration or buzzing before separation, loud noise, sleep paralysis, and a sense of rolling sideways, lifting, or being drawn upward.
